Welcome to the Heartland School Library Conference
Have you always wanted to attend one of those big, fancy, national school library conferences in big cities around the country but didn't have the time, support or funding to do so? Now's Your Chance! Grab your hat, pack your bag, and head to Omaha for the Heartland School Library Conference in June 2010 where you’ll join your colleagues to two days of fun, friends, food and fantastic learning!
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Library Science programs, with its partners, the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) Library Media program and the Nebraska Educational Media Association (NEMA) are bringing Cassandra Barnett, President of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and Pam Berger, technology guru and school library advocate to your own backyard in the Midwest!
We encourage you take advantage of this opportunity to sharpen your skills and network with other school library professionals from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Missouri in our quest to promote and provide engaging and exciting 21st Century school library programs for our wonderful P-12 students!
